Item Description
This locality has produced some of the most distinctive and signature specimens from China. The best of the Scheelites are incredible and world class for what they are. This particular piece features a handful of distinctive, sharp, lustrous, translucent, golden orange color, pseudo-octahedral crystal of Scheelite measuring up to 2.1 cm free of matrix. No damage to the front side of the Scheelite crystals, and they are actually fairly gemmy when backlit. The back of the specimen is not broken, as it's re-crystallized, but there is a small contact on one corner, so it's not completely pristine all around. The quality is very good and these are some of the finest examples of crystallized Scheelite in the world. I would put this one in the $400-$600 range retail.
