Item Description
The famous Tae Wha mine in Korea has produced some very attractive Tungsten minerals. The Scheelite and Ferberites from this mine are some of the most classic for the species. This specimen hosts a sharp, semi lustrous, well-formed, uniquely "purple" color pseudo-octahedral crystal of Scheelite. The piece is complete on the display side, and is good condition overall despite a few tiny nicks here and there. It is certainly an attractive specimen from this storied locality in a now less than accessible part of the world. The piece shows excellent fluorescence as well.
