Impressive large, intergrown, pseudo-octahedral tetragonal scheelite crystals from famed Mt. Xuebaoding. A beautiful and striking gemmy golden-orange termination sits atop the lustrous, orange-yellow body of the striking large crystal. Patches of tabular cleavelandite are a fine contrast, complement and accessory. Another gorgeous gemmy termination is hidden on the back side. Complete all-around, in excellent shape, the contact lower on the back side is out-of-sight. Ghostly white SW UV fluorescence. Hefty for its size at 889 grams or nearly 2 pounds mass. Mt. Xuebaoding has produced world-class scheelite specimens and this is a very fine example with beautiful gemmy corners. The "flood" of world class scheelite is pretty much over and most new material is smaller and of pale color in comparison. It GLOWS, when backlit!
