Item Description
Tiny sparkly, brassy, pyrite cubes are festooned and contrasting pearlescent dolomite rhombs are scattered on the showy mounded specimen of intergrown schalenblende botryoids covered with brown marcasite crystals on this excellent combination from this well-known and extinct large Zn-Pb deposit. Schalenblende is a mixture of sphalerite and wurtzite and may contain other minerals. The botryoids consist of concentric banded layers and reniform masses of mainly sphalerite and wurtzite. Choice and uncommon combination material from the Sanabria Collection.
