Item Description
A very dramatic and aesthetic, large calcite crystal cluster. A gemmy, complex scepter rhomb sits atop a steep scalenohedron with a striking interior phantom. Two faces of the scalenohedron are preferentially coated with rust-brown iron oxides with the other four having glassy faces with intense stepped-growth. The scalenohedron looks just like a famous Shullsberg, Wisconsin sceptered calcite. Dramatically attached to the side is a large, 3.6 x 3.5 x 3.0 cm, glassy rhomb with nifty interior hematite tinting. One face and edge of the scepter is partially contacting, but are certainly minimal detractions. The form of this 360-degree calcite is most impressive and unusual.
