Scapolite (unique color)

Here we have a cool Scapolite gem from Afghanistan. Typically we're used to seeing yellow or purple gems from various localities around the world, but this gem has an interesting pastel pinkish-lavender hue, that is unlike most Scapolites you'll see on the market. The stone is only very slightly included with a traditional "round brilliant" cut. A rare stone collector can certainly appreciate the rarity of a gem like this. Rarely does one find Scapolites of this hue from any locality.
