Item Description

A highly sculptural, clefted, dense cluster of sharply terminated, translucent, bone-white, scapolite prisms from this noted locale, famous for green fluorapatite crystals. This striking piece looks great from either side. The tall prisms look like a tower guarding a pass in Mordor from the Lord of the Rings! Modest pink fluorescence. Choice and excellent material from the Robert Nowakowski Collection.
