Item Description

Scapolite is not a species, but is often assigned to gems as it is more recognizable to most collectors. The actual species are Meionite and Marialite. This piece is from a find from a few years ago in Afghanistan and features a sharp, lustrous, prismatic, pinkish-lilac crystal. The piece also fluoresces under UV light. Good sized for any locality.
