Item Description

Intense purple color, high luster, beautiful translucence and sharp terminated form charcterize this stout, rather large scapolite crystal from recent finds. The crystal has very glassy, well-striated prism faces. Complete all-around and pristine. One termination face on the back side has a contact, but there no damage, per se. A most excellent, fairy large and very well formed example of the species and locale. It GLOWS, when backlit. Valued at $750.
