Item Description
Sapphirine is a rare silicate, named for the blue color allusion and shape of sapphire. This pristine, hexagonal, floater crystal is moderately lustrous and has typical blue-gray color. It is also unusually laminated with stepped side faces, which is not uncommon for the region. Highly representative of the species and locale. Seldom on the market. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
