Item Description
A very fine 2-piece deal of gemmy, doubly terminated, desirable cornflower-blue, sapphire crystals. These classic, striated, tapered, Ratnapura crystals have excellent luster. The largest crystal has a water-clear tip, with the other end being broken. The smaller crystal is very gemmy, doubly terminated and pristine. An excellent older pair from these deposits. Most such crystals are all heated, cut, and sold to the crazy Chinese market that is buying up as much as they can. 8.56 carats.
