Item Description
Here we have a rare locality specimen from the metabauxite deposits on Naxos Island in the South Aegean Sea of Greece. This polished specimen features attractive purplish-blue Sapphire associated with thin streaks of off-white colored Diaspore along with contrasting black Chloritoid. The mix of colors creates a very pleasing display specimen, that would great on shelf in your display case. The piece was collected in 2017. You never see these on the market, and if you're a fan of Sapphire, this is a cool oddball locality piece to add to your collection.
