Item Description
A very sharp, doubly-terminated, rather lustrous, rich blue colored Sapphire crystal from the finds of the late 1990s and early 2000s. It's crystallized all the way around with excellent luster, and the terminations are striated and complete. The back of the crystal hosts a few smaller accessory Sapphires, and there is a slight indentation, but it's completely crystallized, making the specimen essentially a "floater". The coloration varies from blue to purplish, depending on the lighting used. Corundum crystals are rarely so SHARP and WELL-FORMED like this! Impressive and complete-all-around. A superb thumbnail. Ex Charlie Key specimen.
