Item Description
Sapphires are found every shade you can imagine, except for red, when they classified as Rubies (some pink stones are considered Rubies in certain markets as well). Most people think of Sapphires are being blue, but I've seen them occur in virtually every color you can think of. This stone has an unusual hue that I can best describe as sort of an olive yellow-green. The stone has an "Oval Cabochon" cut with some slight inclusions, but it's the intriguing and rare color that makes it a worthwhile gem to add to any Sapphire collection or as a center stone in a piece of jewelry.
