Item Description

While Sapphires are most well known from countries like Sri Lanka and Tanzania, but when it comes to the United States, the most well-known Sapphires come from Montana. You'll rarely see a Montana Sapphire that weighs over 1 carat, but they are found in wide range of colors and are certainly fine quality. Here we have a beautiful matched pair of pale yellow Sapphire from one of the better known localities for the material in North America. These stones are nearly eye clean with "Round Brilliant" cuts. A good sized set from this classic U.S. Sapphire locality. Although they have been mined for over a century, Montana Sapphires have become increasingly popular in the last few years, along with a lot of gems from the United States, like Red Beryl from Utah, Hiddenite from North Carolina and Benitoite from California. Don't miss out on picking up this beautiful set for a great price.
