A true favorite of many collectors is the rare color change Sapphire. Some of the best color change Sapphires come from the Umba Valley in Tanzania. This stone has a nice color shift with a rich purple color in incandescent lighting which shifts to a beautiful blue color with pinkish-purple overtones in sunlight. Please note that this stone displays a different color in different kinds of lighting, which includes halogen lighting, fluorescent lighting, and incandescent lighting. The photo does not show the color as well as it appears in person, and I was unable to take a photo in sunlight, but take my word for it, the color shift if there. This is a good quality, very slightly included "Trillion" cut gem. Don't miss out on this one.
