A true favorite of many collectors is the rare color change Sapphire. Some of the best color change Sapphires come from the Umba Valley district in Tanzania. This stone has a nice color change with a pleasing pink color in incandescent lighting which changes to a beautiful light golden orange color with a slight greenish overtone in sunlight. Please note that this stone displays a different color in different kinds of lighting, which includes halogen lighting, fluorescent lighting, and incandescent lighting. The photo does not show the color as well as it appears in person, as these stones can be somewhat difficult to photograph. This is a good quality, VVS "Pear" cut gem. Don't miss out on this one.
