Item Description

Sapphire doublets are rare from the famous gem deposits of Ratnapura, Sri Lanka. The gemmy and lustrous, light blue, tapered crystals are pristine and have classic, well-striated crystal faces. The large crystal is doubly terminated and I really like the diverging arm-like form of the smaller crystal. Excellent older material from these famous deposits. 4.20 carats
