Item Description
A lovely little pink Sapphire from one of the better known localities for the material in North America. This "Round" cut stone has very slight inclusions and a vivid pink hue that can best be described as pink with a slight lilac overtone. The color is fairly saturated for the sized too. This is not a small Sapphire by the standards of this classic U.S. Sapphire locality, as most of them are under 1/4 carat in weight. Although they have been mined for over a century, Montana Sapphires have become increasingly popular in the last few years. There has been a surge in the price and demand of gemstones from the United States recently, and things like Benitoite, Rhodochrosite (from Colorado), Red Beryl, Hiddenite, Oregon Sunstone, and Montana Sapphire seem to be on the rise across the board as few gems are available, and lots of people are buying them up.
