Montana is well known for its Sapphires. Here we have a beautiful purple Sapphire from one of the most productive localities for the material in North America. This fine little sparkler is a lovely yellow gem and is only slightly included with a "Round Brilliant" cut. This would make a great addition to a Sapphire suite, or a suite of gems from the United States. A very attractive gem for this classic U.S. Sapphire locality. Yellow is one of the most desirable colors for Sapphire around the world. I've seen the best of these stones sell for $1,000 per carat and more at major gem shows this year.
