Sapphires are known from several countries around the world, but the Pakistani Sapphires are certainly less common than those from Sri Lanka or Tanzania. I haven't seen many of these stones on the market in recent years, and even 10 years ago when there were more of them around, they were still hard to find. This "Emerald" cut gem has a lovely pinkish-purple hue and is virtually eye clean. This color is very attractive, and the stone itself is a good quality Sapphire from Pakistan or any other locality.
