Recently, the various gem tracts around Luc Yen have produced some impressive Sapphire crystals. These are easily some of the most attractive Sapphire crystals to come out of any locality. This specimen is a nice, semi-lustrous, translucent, fairly sharp, pink Sapphire crystal. The crystal does have a few contacts, but looks pretty good from the display side. This locality has the potential to produce some SUPERB Sapphires and this is a good little thumbnail specimen from this up and coming locality.
