Here we have a beautiful blue Sapphire from one of the most productive localities for the material in North America. This fine little sparkler is a very slightly included "Round" cut gem with a lovely purple-blue color. The color shifts depending upon which light the stone is viewed (more blue in sunlight). Sapphires are not common from the United States, but Montana is a well known Sapphire producer. A very attractive little stone for this classic U.S. Sapphire locality.
