Sri Lanka is well known for it's Sapphires. Here we have a beautiful golden-yellow Sapphire from one of the most productive localities for the material in the world. This fine little sparkler is a very very slightly included "Oval Step" cut gem. This would make a nice addition to a Sapphire suite. Good Sapphires seem to increasing in value, especially based upon some of the prices we've seen at shows recently.
