Item Description
A large, tapered, hexagonal, sapphire crystal from Sri Lanka. The lustrous and striated, pretty light blue crystal has colorless banded zones. Complete all-around. The small termination is contacted, but has no damage, per se. A trivial bit of edgewear is noted near the broad base. This is a large crystal and the conical form is fairly uncommon. Highly representative larger material. 16 grams.
