Sapphires is one of those gems that comes in virtually every color of the rainbow. With that said, this stone is nearly colorless, and shows a pale peach-yellow hue. It is a nearly eye clean "Step Pear" cut gemstone, and looks rather attractive in the sunlight. I would certainly say this stone is "collector quality" for the size, and quality of the gem. A good stone to add to a Sapphire suite, especially if you're trying to collect stones that illustrate as many hues as possible. Valued at $180 retail.
