Sapphire

Item Description

Sapphires is one of those gems that comes in virtually every color of the rainbow. With that said, the there are not as many colorless Sapphires on the market as there used to be (many of them are heated/treated to give them color). This stone is a VVS "Oval" cut gemstone, and looks rather attractive in the sunlight. I would certainly say this stone is "collector quality" for the size, cutting, and quality of the gem. A good stone to add to a Sapphire suite, especially if you're trying to collect stones that illustrate as many hue (or lack thereof) as possible.
