Item Description
This is a beautiful rosey-pink colored Sapphire gem from one of the better known localities for the material in North America. This "Round Brilliant" cut stone is only very very slightly included and looks beautiful face up. It's very likely that the stone has been heated to improve the color and clarity, but I don't know for sure if this is the case. A good sized gem from this classic U.S. Sapphire locality. Although they have been mined for over a century, Montana Sapphires have become increasingly popular in the last few years with collectors and jewelers, as we're seeing Montana Sapphires popping up in all kinds of jewelry around the country.
