Sri Lanka has for many years been the largest and top producer of gem quality Sapphires. I've seen Sapphires in virtually every color of the rainbow from Sri Lanka, but the hue that most people associate with the material is blue. Here we have a great 10-stone set of "Oval Cabochon" cut Sapphires with rich inky blue color and excellent clarity, ranging from eye-clean to very slightly included. The set weighs 5.50 carats (total weight) and the stones measure from 7.05 mm x 5.02 mm to 5.98 mm x 4.04 mm. A great set to build a wonderful piece of jewelry, or as accent stones to multiple jewelry pieces, or simply an addition to a gemstone collection.
