Item Description
Sanidine feldspar cut gems and cabochons of beauty, from this historic locality. Here we have a vintage example of this difficult to source gem material (with Schortmann's Minerals label from the mid-1900s). Semi-polished natural rough nodule with a striking blue sheen, showing that you could cut cabochons out of this, or leave as is simply for its rough beauty. Such specimens are almost never seen for sale anymore. A beautiful US gem/mineral curiosity! 35.5 grams.
