The famous Molinello Mine is a small manganese mine famous for rare and unusual species of Mn, As, V and others. Saneroite is an ultra rare hydrated sodium, manganese, vanadium silicate found in only three localities worldwide! The Type Locality is nearby. Lustrous, translucent, burnt-orange saneroite microcrystals richly cover matrix on this excellent and very rich example of this extremely rare species.
