Item Description
Some of the finest examples of Sanbornite, a RARE Ba-silicate, come from this obscure Barium-rich claim, and were collected back in the 1960s. The Esquire No. 1 claim is the Type Locality for 7 VERY RARE Barium-silicate species. This sculptural large laminated cleavage is entirely pearlescent, partially translucent, pretty light mint-green to white plates. An extremely rich and showy mass of this rare species from this obscure locale. Seldom available. Ex Bill and Anne Cook Collection.
