Item Description

A fairly sharp, well-formed, prismatic, brownish-black colored single orthorhombic crystal of Samarskite-(Y) from the lesser known Brignall Mine (McQuire Mine) in Ontario, Canada. This is the only piece of this mineral I've seen from this mine, and it's a great rarity for any collector of Canadian minerals or just a collector or tantalates.
