Item Description
Saleeite is a rare, hydrated, magnesium, uranium phosphate, in this case occurring on a thin plate of matrix. The individual crystals are bladed, with an eye-catching yellow green color, great luster, and outstanding fluorescence. The gemmy to translucent Saleeite crystals range in size from about 2-3 mm on edge. Truly incredible color under either type of light. The crystals are excellent and, as you might imagine, the uranium deposits at Ranger are both important and tightly regulated. These deposits there are now mined out and, as you can see, the aesthetics of this miniature are excellent.
