Item Description

Salammoniac is a weird ammonium chloride halide found in volcanic fumaroles, burning coal seams and guano deposits. This is a striking crystal has unbelievably sharp and aesthetic spines. It looks just like a dinosaur or reptile skeleton! Their luster, clarity, and form are terrific, and the little bit of gray along the back spines adds interest and contrast. The crystal is attached to part of a toothpick. Ex Marilyn Dodge Collection. Valued at $250. Rarely on the market.
