Salammoniac is a weird ammonium chloride halide found in volcanic fumaroles, burning coal seams and guano deposits. This is a striking crystal has unbelievably sharp and aesthetic spines. It looks just like a dinosaur or reptile skeleton! Their luster, clarity, and form are terrific, and the little bit of gray along the back spines adds interest and contrast.
