Item Description

Safflorite is an uncommon Co-arsenide and this is a very showy and uncommon 360-degree mounded combination from this historic Erzgebirge district. Burnished blades of microcrystallized to botryoidal safflorite are enveloped in two generations of dolomite crystals - smaller, pearlescent rhombs partially cover larger pretty lavender rhombs. Tiny brassy pyrites on the safflorite are a nice accent. It displays very well without aid. Choice old-time combination material from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Value??
