Item Description
An 3-piece deal of sharp, highly lustrous, deep wine-red, rutile crystals with gemmy highlights attached to a bit of matrix from the famous Champion Mine of Mono County, California! The frontal view is pristine on the large crystal and the contacted lower back of the crystal shows that this crystal is actually 2.7 cm long (large for the locale). The other two crystals have only a trivial bit of edgewear. Ex. Dennis Mullane Collection.. Old material, MUCH more rare than rutile from Georgia, in the US.
