Item Description

Struverite, a rare Ta- and Fe-bearing variety of rutile, is very uncommon from this obscure Madagascar pegmatite. This sharp, lustrous, metallic-gray, tetragonal crystal is embedded with mica and feldspar. Undoubtably older material, but no proof. Ex Eugene Carmichael Collections. RARE on the market in this quality.
