Item Description
Classic and exceptional old-time rutile from one of the finest US localities for the species. The sculptural splendent metallic-gray crystal has stunning stepped-growth faces on three sides. Some contacting is noted, but certainly has only minimal impact to the overall high quality and exceptional form of this striking rutile crystal. Of Genth (1874); "Finest locality in Sadsbury township, for the principal locality for Rutile in Chester County PA.
