Rutile (twin) (classic material)

Item Description

A very good and classic specimen of Rutile from the famous locality at Graves Mountain. The main crystal is actually twinned with rather sharp faces that show a metallic, reddish color sitting on a bit of matrix. Rarely are these Rutile crystals seen on matrix, and this eye catching piece is a great example of this well known (and increasingly hard to find) material. The crystal measures 3.3 cm on its longest dimension. Classic material!
