Item Description

A 3.2 cm, stout, striated, terminated, lustrous, metallic-gray, rutile crystal is dramatically set on the edge of the quartz and muscovite schist matrix. Rutile is RARE from this less well-known Swiss locale and this is an exceptional example. Ex Rolf Wein Collection and purchased in 1972. Valued at $1000. A must for the species or locality collector.
