Item Description

Both rutile and anatase are RARE from this obscure Minas Gerais locale. This is a doubly rare pseudomorph of lustrous, reddish-brown metallic rutile after a 5 mm tetragonal anatase crystal. A few smaller pseudos are scattered on the nubby, coated, subhedral quartz matrix. A VERY RARE pseudo from the Bob Trimingham Collection.
