A surreal, rare and outstanding thumbnail pseudomorph from this obscure Minas Gerais locale. Dense clusters of highly lustrous reddish-bronze tiny rutile needles have replaced a dynamic cluster of anatase cathedral crystals. Many such pieces are a partial coating of rutile on anatase, but this is a rare complete pseudomorph. Comes with a Luis Menezes label, a prominent Brazilian dealer. Valued at $950 for superb quality and rarity.
