Item Description

Asuperb and classic specimen of Rutile from the famous locality at Graves Mountain. This 1.3 cm, very sharp, HIGHLY lusrous, metallic, silvery color crystal (with a slight red appearance on one of the prism faces) aesthetically sits atop a matrix of blue, green, pink and purple iridescent "Turgite" and bladed Pyrophyllite. Rarely are these outstanding Rutile crystals seen on matrix, and this eye catching small miniature is a great example of this well known (and increasingly hard to find) material.
