Item Description
A classic and aesthetic miniature combination from one of Switzerland's most famous localities - Cavradi gorge, producer of some of the world's finest hematite specimen. Lustrous, translucent wine-red rutile crystals, to 4 mm, are richly sprinkled on both sides of the splendent metallic-gray, parallel-growth hematite plates accented with white albite and a couple of neat quartz points on one side. Complete all-around and in great shape, overall. All of the edges are pristine, except for bruised/contacted area near the crest, which is out-of-sight in one view. A wonderful hematite and rutile combination from the Swiss Alps.
