Item Description
A very large (up to 1.3 cm thick!) crystal with rutile's classic brilliant luster, golden-amber to rootbeer-brown color, and striated sides. This is actually a doubly terminated crystal. The major termination is pristine and the lower termination is partially bruised. Brazilian rutiles of this size and quality are simply not that common, even though lesser pieces are very common. The piece comes with a late 1980s to mid 1990s Ken Roberts label.
