Rutile in Smoky Quartz (rare locale)

Located just outside of the Hardangervidda National Park boundaries, is this fantastic but not too well known locality with superb quartz included by rutile. Most collectors only know of the anatase from the Handangervidda area but it's possible to find anatase, rutile, and brookite all from there. This specimen is a beautiful smoky quartz on a bit of chlorite phyllite matrix that is loaded with bronze-colored rutile needles. This could easily pass as a Brazilian piece if the rutile was more golden in color, it's that similar! This quality and concentration of rutile in quartz isn't commonly seen from Hardangervidda.
