Rutile in Quartz (2009-10 finds)

Item Description

Scintillating golden rutile needles are festooned inside of this dramatic and aesthetic large cluster of glassy, transparent to translucent to opaque quartz crystals. The striking large crystal is 7.3 cm tall, is complete all-around (one side is contacted with no damage) and has only a gently bruised tip. This very showy, excellent and rich piece is from limited finds 2009-10.
