Amazingly lustrous, golden rutile needle starbursts rest epitaxial on mirror-bright, black hematite crystals from an obscure Bahia, Brazil locality make for a striking and aesthetic specimen. The tiered, 3-dimensional nature of the starbursts really adds character to this fine piece.
