Rutile epitaxial on Hematite in Quartz

Item Description

An aesthetic, T-shaped specimen of sharp, water-clear quartz crystals included with golden bright rutile needles epitaxial on hematite plates from recent finds at Novo Horizonte, Brazil. The striking doubly terminated quartz crystal at the top is very nifty. Some of the rutile needles protrude out of the quartz. The frontal view of the "T" is in super good shape, the doubly terminated cap of the "T" has only miniscule termination wear and the contacting at the base is not a detraction. Contacting on the back is out of sight. This is one of the classier rutile-included quartz I have seen from this locale.
